DNCF
has decided to establish five Paramedics and
Ambulance Centers near major Sikh holy
Shrines in Punjab, to speed up travel
time and to provide first hand medical support and
lifeline to the injured and severely sick.
Due
to lack of finances available by the Pakistani
government, the devastating medical conditions can
be witnessed everywhere in the country. As the
expert medical facilities are available only in
the major cities of Pakistan, but the survey shows
that two out of every ten severely wounded or sick
die before reaching hospitals.
As
the number of casualties keeps on rising in these
remote areas due to dangerous driving, crime,
industrial and domestic accidents, DNCF feels that
by providing the very initial medical help, it can
participate in reduction of untimely deaths and
injuries to the innocent residents.
